Looking about carefully he gets his mind straight of her offer. He was not accustom to this place and did wish to learn as much as possible. But the thought remained in his head. 'Soldiers' He had many ideas on hat they were like and even as his gift was he was unsure of them and decided quickly.

"I shall go forth with you. And I shall assist you. But only as I see fit. As you know, I lack knowledge of this world and will play it safe on the side i feel most suitable to what I believe."

He didn't wish to speak in a foul and aggressive manner at as if thy felt it could be taken.

"Do not take my words as sore for I am only playing safe."

He looked at Pine as the pup gave a puppy little yap.

"I also would like to know as you say transport to the place of origin. How will this 'transport' be done?"

He may be new but he wasn't ignorant he was going to find knowledge of where he was and time didn't matter to him for if possible whatever would slow him down would only open his eyes to something he could have overlooked.

"I am Camo, Elemental Guardian of the forest on the World of Garian. I am honored to meet you Shadow. This is my familiar and close companion Pine."

"Elemental Guardian, eh? Well, Camo, welcome to Fa'Diel. May the Goddess bless your journey in our fair land. And, not to be rude but I have business with Leafa."

Shadow hovered away from the fire a bit, motioning Leafa to follow him. Once they were a small distance away, he turned and asked the question that was burning in his mind.

"Have you thought any more about my offer?"

Suddenly... Shadow glowed slightly; one of his flock was calling to him. The voice in his ears was Vanessas'. There was an urgency in her voice that belied her calm message. Shadow hesitated a moment and only a moment.

"Leafa, I must leave... You may wish to accompany, as this seems to involve -both- of our flocks. It seems your impetuous one has gotten himself into trouble again. You may be able to provide assistance, without being seen."

Shadow moved away from the Dryad and approached the strange man again. This one had an air of power about him, though he seemed to display a very small amount. Perhaps this Elemental Guardian would be a help in the coming battles.

"If you would like to accompany me and meet some of the inhabitants of this world, I would be happy to transport you. If, however, you choose to remain here... beware the Imperial troops. Now, traveler, what would be your decision?"

Shadow waited for a response, even though precious seconds were ticking away.

Looking up as he came to a stand with Pine still in his hands, he returns a bow showing respect. Camo was very often respectful and never wish to offend any.

"I am Camo, Elemental Guardian of the forest on the World of Garian. I am honored to meet you Shadow. This is my familiar and close companion Pine."

He did not know this man and by the way he presented himself seemed proper but still he was in a place he was not sure of and if anything were to happen he did not want a brawl to start nor any fighting what so ever. So Camo would try and keep a submissive attitude in the mean time. He hoped they could help him find a way home, unknow how he even got to this place. He kept his energy at a low so he could be kept unread from little energy but having such a strong connection to the forest, any thing with a similar bond could easily tell. However Camo was not the only one with this great energy presented in the force of the forest. But in his hands he held a stick of dynomite. Pine had the same powerful energy as Camo did. But Pine seemed different than his fur body showed. For he seemed more of the essance of a tree than a common seen wolf. He was sure to be something strange.

A small child… lost in the dark, dangerous cave. She wandered, barely missing various sleeping monsters. They would rip this small child to pieces, were they to wake. She wandered the inky passages as if she could see in the dark. Her steps were confident and without fear. She skirted the narrow passages and paths as if they were within her home. Just outside the cave, however, was a different picture. The child’s mother and family were desperately searching for her. They knew the dangers that abounded in this area and hoped she hadn’t wandered into the cave.

“Alyssa!”

Her mother had looked up, at the cave entrance, just as she emerged from it. Everything else was forgotten; her baby was safe!

Shade watched, from just behind the child, as she was hugged by her mother. Alyssa was one of his… more adventurous charges. As a half human, she shouldn’t have aligned. However, she did align with Shade, and Shadow in particular. Shadow smiled over her and then dissipated. He needed to search for Leafa and see if she’d thought any more about his proposal.

“I didn’t think I’d find you so close…” Shade smirked as he appeared behind Leafa. “We need to ta—“ Shadow stepped around Leafa to find, what seemed like, a human sitting on the ground. “Did you take a new charge, Leafa? He seems rather heavily aligned to Dryad, and yet….”

Shadow approached the man and his dog, cautiously. This man had a strange feel to him. Shadow stopped a distance from him, hovering almost over the fire.

“My name is Shadow.” The Shade bowed slightly to the stranger and awaited a response.

~~~~~~~~~~~~
Vanessa followed the group, silently wishing Streep was coming along. She kept slowing down, falling back, and looking down the path behind her. She was hoping to see him coming anyway. Streep was notorious for not listening. When she fell behind Sara… her movements were noticed.
“Are you getting tired, Vanessa? I would think this trek would be easiest for you.”
Vanessa looked at the girl and smiled weakly. She was slightly tired, but that wasn’t why she kept falling back. She could not, however, let Sara even suspect her true reasons for falling behind.
“I guess I didn’t sleep as well as I thought.” The elf tried with a smile.
Vanessa decided she’d better at least stay even with Sara, lest the shrewd female get suspicious. The remainder of the trip up the mountain was without incident. They were allowed past the guard with no problems, as Strahan was their guide. When they entered the presence of the great dragon, everyone bowed low. Vanessa bowed, even though she felt the urge to stay standing.
<Why am I feeling like this? This Dragon of Knowledge deserves respect, but I feel resentful at having to give it…>
Luckily her consternation didn’t show on her face. If it had, Vanessa might have been in rather a lot of trouble. As they were waiting for the option to stand in Akravator’s presence, the dragon turned his head. Vanessa glanced in the direction he was looking and, somehow, knew that was where the Mana Stone resided. A claw was raised and then put back down, as if in indecision.
<I wonder… if Kala is in that room now.>
A small smirk crossed Vanessa’s face as she thought about what the dragon would do to her, if he found her there. The smirk was quickly erased, however, as Vanessa realized what she was thinking about. Kala was a friend and she shouldn’t be garnering pleasure from the thought of Kala’s demise. Why those thoughts brought pleasure was a mystery to her. Vanessa watched the dragon carefully, wondering what was going to happen.
[A.N.- Sorry for the long wait guys. This was supposed to be up earlier but I just came back to check and my post was GONE! The board ate it! Dx First one I've never saved in Word too. Damn it.]
"Please. Don't. Stabmeintheneck!"
Kala paused. Streep couldn't have possibly been dumb enough to follow her, could he? Of course he was. Kala rolled her eyes and lowered her weapons with a disgusted sigh.
"Um... s-sorry, Kala. I know I was supposed to be back at the camp, but... I got bored," he sighed, "So I figured I'd follow after you. I thought you might like some company. Oh, and I found this really great spot yesterday!"
He smiled. Kala tried not to stab him in the neck. The boy had a death wish.
"That's wonderful, Streep," Kala replied with no littler exasperation, "but I'm rather busy going to see one of the Great Dragons right now. Maybe you can show me it later?"
Without really waiting for a reply, Kala set off again, counting to ten slowly in her mind...and then starting over again. She wasn't going to kill Streep. Yet.
So involved in her thinking was the dragoon that she was only vaguely aware that Streep continued to follow her. Soon Kala was completely absorbed in the mountain. The back trails of Norn required all of one's concentration. If your mind wandered, you could die. Kala made steady progress, scaling seemingly sheer rock and inching along thin mountain paths. Harsh winds cut through her and her Jinn aligned blood sang, reveling in the fury of her element.
Pulling herself over the the last cliff, Kala lay on the rocky ground paying no mind to the sweat and dirt that clung to her. Akravator's Mana Crystal lay only a few feet away, its magic washed over Kala like waves. Kala didn't bother to move to find Akravator. He would come to see who had bypassed him. She could already feel him trekking up the path, both magically and from the vibrations of the ground. Hopefully, the rest of the group would already be with him.
"Please. Don't. Stabmeintheneck!"
Kala paused. Of course it would be Streep following her. She rolled her eyes and lowered her weapons with a disgusted sigh. The boy had a death wish.
He smiled. Kala wanted to stab him.
"That's wonderful, Streep. I'm sort of on my way to meet an ancient dragon right now though. Maybe you can show me later?" Kala counted to ten in her mind. And then repeated. She would not kill Streep. Yet.
Kala continued on the path, only vaguely aware that Streep had followed after her. She needed to speak with Akravator. He could know something about all of...this. Her connection with Artemisia, the curse, Elly, her missing sister. If he could answer just one question about any of those things the trip, the town, would be worth it.
Up the mountain she climbed, scaling seemingly sheer cliffs and inching along thin mountain paths. Kala was naturally aligned with Jinn and her blood sang to be surrouned by the fury of her element as the harsh wings cut into her. Carefully and patiently she travelled towards Akravator, she could actually feel the dragon as she drew closer.
Finally, Kala pulled herself onto the last cliff of the mountain, the location of Akravator's Mana Crystal. Kala indulged for a moment, the feeling of pure magic flowing over her, pulsating from the Crystal.
Kala didn't bother to move. She knew that Akravator would come to her, probably with the rest of the group following after.
Camo was staring into the fire as he remained quiet. Past memories haunted him and nothing with them seemed to change. He had a rough past but it was unnoticed by anyone. Those in the world of Garian new ledgends of a man who defeated an evil man who had the power of a God. And this man was mortal not immortal as was camo. But It was him that did it, he at one point in time gave up the forest so that it would not be the fault of the forest if the world was to come to an end. He again was returned his gift after proving himself worth. Ofcoarse the test was worse than that of most he had experianced. Camo continued thinking all the things the people of Garian thought of him. Weither they knew him or not, there were some sort of ledgend they spoke that being of his. And sighed at the thought that people began to worship him and he hated it. Camo thought himself as a failure and didn't feel like anyone should even look up to him. Plus he was God of the forest in Garian, not this world. Camo did not know the powers this world contained. So much began coming to mind all at once and he began to get restless. His expression changed from confused to frustrated as his mind became flooded of nonsence that just came from out of the blue. The fire just added to the frustration, he had nothing to do with fire and could care less about freezing as long as he was not around the flame that glowed in front of him. His ind became more scattered and for some reason lost focus and his energy could be felt more that what it had been in hiding when he had it focused. It was kind of desturbing from its strength and it caused pine to get aggitated biting Camo in the fingers lightly. All this occured as he quietly stared into the fire.
Streep was, to be quite honest about everything, not terribly happy about having to stay behind in the camp. It was one thing to be stuck behind and have something to do, but Streep was suffering from a deadly dull case of boredom. They hadn't even been gone five minutes and already he was up and pacing about, trying to keep himself busy.
"Heh. You look like you've got ants in your pants, Streep- bored much?" Michael asked.
Streep sighed. "Got that straight. I mean, I know I shouldn't go after them since we don't want to get any people after me, but... cripes! There's nothing to do!"
"Oh there's always something to do, the question is whether you want to do it or not," the reply came with a wink.
"Doing work and having something to do are two completely different things, Michael," the boy replied with a roll of the eyes, "What I really want to do is go after them. I mean, I'll probably never get a chance like this! That's a whole mountain-side I haven't investigated. And sis expects me to just sit here?"
Streep sighed, sitting down and crossing his legs. He didn't usually feel THIS restless, but right now the urge to get up and run off on adventure was incredibly strong.
"Hee, no, don't blame it on me. This is all your work, wanderboy," Elly teased, knowing full well what logic Streep was on.
"Good. But man, that's something I really should get to working on... I can't be up running around all the time."
Michael smirked at Streep, who was visibly caught in his thoughts. Or rather lack thereof, any person would have to admit this was a pleasant if not boring morning.
"Well, if you want to go so bad, then go. Keep your head down, stay on the buddy system when you find someone, and don't do anything stupid. Common sense."
"You mean... I can go?" Streep hopped up.
"I ain't your daddy. You get to do what you want to do now, it's your life."
Streep stared at Michael a moment as he realized the truth of what the Elf said. He really WAS free to do what he wanted. As this dawned on him, a grin came to his face.
"Well alright then! That's exactly what I'll go do! Hey VB, keep an eye on Mireille for me, thanks!"
And just like that, the boy had run off into the woods, hot on the trail of Kala. Well, at least that's what he thought, he wasn't exactly a woodsman. It was more like "go this way and see what we run into." Fantastic method if you wanted to get yourself lost. Which Streep, naturally, was well on the path to doing. Thankfully... well, thankfully depending on what perspective you look at it, Streep was lucky enough to draw close to Kala. What he did NOT expect was for her to come flying from the trees, knives brandished. She was amazingly fast, really, as she had both piece of cutlery to his neck before he could even think about taking a step back.
"Please. Don't. Stabmeintheneck!" Streep sputtered, frozen in place. He stood there a few moments with those knives to his jugular, looking at the particularly ticked woman in front of him. At one point, he was certain her eye twitched in annoyance.
"Um... s-sorry, Kala. I know I was supposed to be back at the camp, but... I got bored," he sighed, "So I figured I'd follow after you. I thought you might like some company. Oh, and I found this really great spot yesterday!"
He smiled. Smiled. Talk about being perky in the most inappropriate situations.
He was confused. He was not from this area and has never heard of such a place. Pine was still asleep and he didnt wish to wake the pup. He was more concerned on the fact that nothing was the same to him.
"..your not from around here are you?"
"No I am not," He looked at her when he spoke. His emrald green eyes glittered and showed from the fire making them look like crystals. "I am Camo Elemental Gardian of the Forest." He spoke looking at Pine. He was so confused and he began getting a feeling from the Elemental. He knew what she was he had come in contact with them many times and let her know quiclky. "Am not from her I am from a World called Garian. Nor am I of your class of elemental." He could pick up on her fast from his connection to the Elements.
Pine began to wimper lightly as he gently placed his hand on top of him softly petting the small pup. Camo wasn't sure if she would believe his words and expected some comment. He was not know in this realm and as he became more awake he began to understand differently of the world he came to be in.
